Le Roux,

                     Interesting engineering as before CNC.  What gearing is yours and direction of prop?   The prop flange is shrunk on so heat the flange of the prop shaft will aid in removal.   Is there anything holding the prop shaft flange on besides the shrink fit?.  How does the ring gear come off the o0ther end – or does it?    Is the prop shaft tapered at all over it’s length?

Neil: Sorry for waiting so long, but here is the output shaft dimensions and bearings used.
The propeller flange sits like hell and needs a 30 ton press to get it out

The shaft runs in 2 needle bearings.

There is a thrust bearing on the outside of the ringgear Picture included
