Worn out? Shouldn't the plate last the life of the engine? How often do they "wear out"? Are there any examples of high mileage engines that they can point to?
At $10K, just for the three housings, I'd expect high level of reliability.

Alloy side housings are from Promaz automotive in Thomastown in Melbourne Aust. With our dollar they will cost approx. $1800 USD ?? Not sure what his current price is.
