Been=C2=A0 pouring over the schematics etc. for ec-3 and em-3 that have bee=
n posted.At the outset let me confess that I am a rank dyslexic beginner at=
 reading (and understanding) schematics.
I have a ec-3 and em-3 which my records show that I purchased in April of 2=
010.Reading through the documents, it seems like the only change he made wi=
th the=C2=A0 6/13/12=C2=A0update=C2=A0was to substitute a .001uf cap for ex=
isting at C28. Was the only change. For what reason was it done and is it s=
uggested to make that modification.
I also noticed that he has an input lead pin 38 IC1 for a knock sensor.
Was there a software update between when I got mine and when he stopped shi=
pping. Is it available and is it significantly important. Was the knock sen=
sor included in that upgrade?

HELP!!!=C2=A0 I'm learning just enough to become dangerous (mainly to my ps=
yche) as I near the engine installation and testing (probably early next sp=
ring or with the weather we have been having--mid winter. (Chicago)
Any suggestions (other than to can the RMS (already installed)) to soothe m=
y psyche?
