A good solid input to the CPUs over the full RPM range is really all we want. Tracy mentioned that during start there's a significant noise from the starter. After reiterating to Tracy that there already is a 1K resistor across the CAS input on the board, he said if it won't start (signal too low) remove the added 1K resistor in the clamping circuit. BTW, sounds like he's got a box full of EC3 boards. No CPUs. Not sure about the PCM (Programming/Control module) -- I built my own (part of the instrument panel). So if he's going to let go of those EC3 boards at cost, you'd have to make your own box, purchase and program the chips, etc., and certainly do not expect support other than what you may find on this list. I thought of taking this on, then remembered an old remark of Tracy's that if he were to calculate his hourly rate he made on selling EC3s, considering the endless hours on the phone and emails, it was probably $0.10/hour  :) I've got too many projects as it is.
