Agreed that one EGT in the downpipe would be easiest, but what does that buy you? I thought the purpose of EGT's was to enable you to monitor each cylinder. The cast manifold isn't the best arrangement, but if they are placed close to the ports, they should give a pretty good indication of what's going on with each rotor. That seems to me to be worth the extra effort of installing two EGT's. BTW, the EC-2 allows you to adjust the mixture of each rotor. But you need to know which way to go with the mixture first. Just my 2-cents worth.
