Hi Steve, yes the original Staging Point was around 15" of MP but in later EC2's and EC3's Tracy moved or recommended it up to about 20" ...
Steve Boese wrote a simplified tuning method based on this increased Staging Point ... check the archives.
Mine was originally 15.5" and is now 19.5".

Hi Guys

I did some work on the EC2 last weekend to begin to calibrate the fuel flow (Renesis 4 port with standard injectors)
The first thing I noted waa the Staging Point in near 20" hg.
My recollection is that in the default EC3 Staging Point is ~15.5"hg.
Can any of you comment on your experiences with this?
