I received an e-mail
from a guy who is selling parts from Alan VanWinkle’s
estate. It looks like there are quite a few good pieces
to be had that could be used as “spares”, or to get a
project moving ahead. Alan was building an RV-9”A", and
this package includes a nice engine mount that I believe
should also work on an RV-7 fuselage, and there is also an
intake from the Swiss company that I think went broke, as
well as an RWS EM2 controller and and re-drive, plus many
extras such as sending units, wires, gaskets, etc.
I know nothing about
the credibility of Mr. Bauer, and i’m just posting this so
anyone interested can pursue it further, and hopefully
get something they need that will get them flying sooner.

Doug,
You emailed a month ago. Here are several
photos of the engine, prop reduction gear and more. I have
very little information as I bought this from an estate. And
am ignorant concerning its completeness. Happy to get more
photos or answer any questions I can.
