Mine has no restrictors other than pipe friction & radiator. Both these are minimal as pipes are all 25mm internal and a large radiator. My theory is to allow coolant to flow as fast as possible all the time. Cavitation happens when the pump impeller slips in the coolant. ie: when impellor is spinning too fast for what can flow through all restrictions.
