Unfortunately, that saga got even uglier before it ended.

As much as I like the rotary, there are some applications that just don't make sense. He could have easily hit his weight target *and* his HP target with a mid-2000s era Yamaha RX1 snowmobile engine. (Though adding 50% to the recommended power for the airframe should be evaluated carefully..)
