Who ever suggested that I put the tach on
the injector trigger is a smart guy. It works great even with my RMI
engine monitor. I ran it up today all the way to 32”MAP and it sure
sounded good. That was giving me about 5000 RPM static. Still had a
couple of inches of throttle left.
I was able to use a syringe to draw down
the MAP as low as I wanted ( <7” ) but it didn’t seem to affect
the ability to run at less than about 15” MAP. I guess the
transition setting didn’t take because the engine was not running. But
it just doesn’t make sense that the EC2 needs to have the CAS turning
before it will accept input. Tracy, can you verify that the engine needs to be running in order to
change the transition MAP? Are there limits to where it can be set?
No smoke coming out of the tail pipe
today. Will follow that issue.
Couldn’t taxi to the restaurant
because the Comm won’t transmit.
Nothing fancy with my turbo set up
straight stock including the waste gate controller and lower part of intake
manifold. (see pic)
Yes, it would be crazy to try to do this
without the O2 sensor. I do have one.

whole day at work tomorrow)
