Does the engine have to be running to set the transition point
or can I just pull some vacuum with the engine off but the EC2 turned on.
The engine has to be
running.
I don't have an injector switch, but it is easy enough to pull the fuse
to either set and turn on the cold start switch. I should have tried that
already, will do so in the am.
I would try disabling the primary
injectors, to see if you can run on the secondaries only. If you had a bad
primary injector, the secondaries would cover for it above the transition, but
you'd be running on one rotor below.
Also, don't be afraid to jack the
mixture knob around as needed. The other likely problem you have is just a
very rich mixture. This will be tolerated at higher power settings, but
not down low. Do you have an O2 sensor. For all practical purposes,
it's a necessity.
Good luck,
Rusty (rev-2 first start
today)
