Bill, I had mine configured for single control operation. The first half of the lever opened the the throttle, while keeping fuel level near lean cut-off. The second half enriched the mixture. Don't try this on a piston engine, but the rotary did it perfectly smooth :-)

I will revisit the Megasquirt system for sure. Do you know who's injectors they are suggesting now? Do they have any way to provision for leaning? Wide range O2? Ross at SDS looked like my only low cost option these days.
