Hi Dennis,
If that were my engine I might assume that it was the front cover
passage, not sure if the Renisis has the same issue or not. But I
don't think it is acceptable to find ANY silver shavings. My worry
now is that your bearings might be getting sloppy. Have you stuck a
telescopic magnet in the oil pan to see what you could pick up.
anyting more than contamination and you probably need to tear it down.
