I do carry liability just in case some gust of wind somehow blows me into something really expensive, but even if my aircraft is damaged, I am the one who is probably going to have to do the repairs anyway. After you get a number of flight hours under the cowl, I suspect that you will become insurable if you desire. So don't worry about it for now.
