Just be aware, you depending on the gun used you may have to substitute the o ring on the piston for one compatible with the oil your using, but this should not be too hard for anyone with aircraft building skills.

These make a lot of sense as there are some that are fed by a hose. If they can be sealed, after use, we can keep a supply of  oil in a one gallon or more container (enough for 128 gal) in the hell hole, have a flexible tube just long enough to reach the fillers on each strake and pump away. All that would be required is a way to retract or stow the tubing. This looks like the best (to me) so far.

An easy mess free solution is to use a drench gun, volume is adjustable and accurate with each trigger pull, just attach direct to container of oil and shoot the required number of shots into the tank.

If you don't know what a drench gun is, ask at a farm supply store or you may have a friend or relative working a cattle ranch. We get the guns thrown in as part of the deal when buying chemical to treat parasites. Just make sure you use a new one.
