An easy mess free solution is to use a drench gun, volume is adjustable and accurate with each trigger pull, just attach direct to container of oil and shoot the required number of shots into the tank.

 

If you don't know what a drench gun is, ask at a farm supply store or you may have a friend orB relative working a cattle ranch.B We get the guns thrown in as part of theB deal when buying chemical to treat parasites. Just make sure you use a new one.
