Hi Steve
TB=throttle body

I built a quadrant out of Jarrah and steel for my plane, took a bit of work to get the shape and weight I wanted but in the end it works and controls throttle and prop, and has good ergonomics. I don't have a preference to quadrant or push/pull as long as they are placed correctly. the throttle needs to be at a natural position for your non flying hand.
just don't do it like the early Jabiru's with the throttle on the floor between your crotch, that's just plain wrong!
