I'll send the starter hole dia. when I get back to my office PC but if you have a dial caliper you can get it yourself on the starter.  Make it .1" oversize to make it easy on yourself.   Al Gietzen came up with a super simple way to modify the RWS plate for plug side mounting the starter.

This is not rocket science on the starter mounting.  The hole size and position is not critical for the starter.  In fact the mount bolt holes can be made oversize to adjust the starter distance to ring gear for proper engagement.  See the archives for Al's directions as I don't have them.

Yes, I am sure that Tracy knows what the starter hole diameters are also.  Perhaps he will chime in.

I wonder what the diameter of the three holes are?

Bill,

I moved mine to the 9 o'clock position (plugs side) by building a whole new plate.  Since the bell housing bolts locate the center position, it requires very accurate locating of the holes as does the center hole which has a counter-bore for the seal.  I cut the plate and a good friend with a Bridgeport did the holes for reasonable fee.  Too bad Tracy doesn't offer this as an option.

To those of you who have moved the starter on the PSRU mounting plate, how
did you go about doing it?  Can it be done with the plate mounted?
