I have often though that a turbo 3-rotor is the perfect engine for the fast glass planes. My impression from those picture is: This stuff is straight from Adkins. There is no doubt that he was involved. The coils, fuel rails and regulator, accessory belt and short intake design have Dave Adkins written all over them. Good points: that mount looks good. It is out of the way of everything like intakes, exhaust and turbo; yet it has the benifits of a conical mount. It does look like the frot conical holds have only 2 supproting tubes. Don't even get Paul Lamar started on that point. The workmanship and appearance of the intake and oil pan is great. The PSRU is either Powersport or Marcote and looks great except for the rust on the prop flange. Things to do different: 1) there is a rubber hose touching (or very near) the exhaust pipe. Obviously not good. 2) C'mon! any serious turbo charger need an intercooler!!! 'nuf said. 3) My eyeball caliper says that it wont cool. Not 350 h.p. anyway. 4) The routing of the belt over the water pump only leave about 30 deg of bite, I would be very worried about slipage.
