Do not expect starter to ground through your engine without problems. I remember Tracy posting on this issue years ago just a bit hard to find in the archives now. As Mark says + make sure you have a ground cable/strap connecte= d battery direct to your starter. Do not expect starter to ground through y= our engine without problems.
