Sure, no problems. The racer had A single Weber 48 IDF with 44MM chokes.
About 280 HP from a 12-A. Nice idle about 1800 RPM. No torque below 5,000 RPM.
But tractable and could be driven around like a street car with a 60 MPH first
gear. Similar to a street car in 3rd gear.
