Rusty, FWIW:  I hung my spintech on each end with thin 1/2" steel strip from Aircraft Spruce.  Bolted it around the in/out tubes and then bolted it to the engine mount.  (inside the cowl location).  Easy to do.

Subject: [FlyRotary] muffler hangers?

Greetings,

The next task is to hang my 14 pound Spin Tech on the bottom of the plane, just behind the cowl.  What's the best thing to use as a strap to hang this thing?  I'll probably make the rounds of some auto parts places today to see if I get any inspiration.  I plan to hang it from two clamps, on the inlet, and outlet tubes.   Can these be ridged, or do they need to be flexible?  The exhaust is the last of the fabrication items, then it's just hoses, and wiring, lots of wiring with the new EM-2.

Thanks,
Rusty (need more time)
