After testing today, it appears that the engine dies with 20psi still in my lines.  I just went down to take a look.  The pressure was at zero, and there was a drop of dark blue liquid beneath the pinhole in the manifold I punched to let the fuel drain.  The gas had evaporated, leaving the two-cycle behind.

Looks like I've got to spend a few more dollars on AN-6 fittings.
