Clear as Mud  :)  But..  the good thing is that once I get this scanning done this kinda conversation is going to be a cake walk.

It's the reason I enjoy CAD sooo much. I rarely start a project where I "THINK" it will work/fit etc..  If I'm that unsure I

just draw it and see if it WILL fit etc..    Not getting alot of action out of this scanner fella.. I think I'll head 'er back to the search

for someone else.

I'll keep you posted.

Jarrett, Ernest , et al,

Jarrett really needs the Front side housing (iron) from the 93-95 RX7 13BREW as
it has all the bolt (Stud) bosses in the correct place so his redisigned "Backplate" will fit
the most versions of the rotary (93-95 13BREW,Cosmo13B,20B and 2004+ Renesis)

Jarrett I am rethinking the stud placement to see if the 86-91 13B can be included
by retaining the top left most bolt (next to the mount ear) on the the Mistral backplate
(It was designed for the 86-91 13B) then when doing your CAD magic to place the
Renesis pump hsg on the Mistral backplate see if it covers the existing bolt position.....

If it does not then the left most bolt position of the Renesis pump hsg would not have
to be drilled for attachment to the front side hsg but have a stud (into the pump hsg) in
this position.........My crude measurements do not tell me if this is feasable but your digital
magic will tell you very quickly when you get all the hsg's scanned...........

Clear as mud wasn't that !!.............<:)

I've gotta get ahold of the one localy [don't know the year yet] .. just gotta track down his number and go get it [think he wanted a couple hundred bucks for the whole car]

Where would a guy go to find the break down of what engines were in what cars [years vs models etc]. I've never understood the naming thing and how it applies to what.

The right one will turn up I'm sure :)
