My bushings are hot rod shop 'shackle bushings'; stiffer than dyna's, but ~$8 each. My firewall side weighs exactly the same as the stock dynafocal; the 3 adapter plates & top tube V assembly weigh a total of ~7 lbs. Anyone have a total weight for the most common 'bottom plate' mount for an RV-x (meaning all the 'stuff' from firewall bolts forward to hang the engine)? I just assumed that since I couldn't use the whole dynafocal ring, I needed to remove all of it.

How about pics of what you did for the top?

Also, weights? Your lower adapters are certainly lighter than mine; I went max overkill with 1/8" 4130.

My bushings are hot rod shop 'shackle bushings'; stiffer than dyna's, but ~$8 each.

Anyone have a total weight for the most common 'bottom plate' mount for an RV-x (meaning all the 'stuff' from firewall bolts forward to hang the engine)?

Well, it's now dangling in front of the firewall.

Several better pics didn't make it from the camera to the computer hard drive, but at least you can see the general idea in this pic. I'm hoping that I'll have room for coolers, intake, exhaust, etc.
