Removed the rear iron today and took out the rotor. I Examined the apex seals by holding the top of two of the seals up to each other. As Tracy predicted light could be seen between the seals.

I am pleased the RA seals did not shatter as I see no apparent damage in the chamber.

So, gotta clean up the mess disassembly produces and install the new seals/O-rings that arrived yesterday.
