The necked-down bolts were prone to breaking ... My take is that the bo= lts are simply a multi-point clamp and any resonance/harmonics they produce= was an oversight on the part of Mazda engineers. Looks like you needed to be much more ge= nerous with the RTV when installing.   It should look a LOT messier th= an what yours looked like.   There needs to be enough to smear off on the housings when installing.
