Also don't forget that we are all paying for this as the US
government in subsidies to farmers as well as it raises our food
costs. I think I have a report about that on E85 somewhere. I signed
the petition several months ago. I passed it on to several others,
but will do it again and make sure they sign it as well.

I just signed it and forwarded this to two people.
If everyone would do this, it would snowball to millions.
The truth of "reduced gas mileage" ought to strike a cord in these
times with rising gas prices.
If someone has a link to factual data that clearly shows how there
is no net energy gain by adding ethanol to our gas, please get
that added to the petition.
(By no "net net energy gain", I mean that the energy used to sow,
harvest, produce, add and transport the ethanol needs to be
weighed against the energy provided by that ethanol. I assume that
if it were cost-effective no subsidies would be needed.)

Dear Rotorheads,
I have just read and signed the petition: "Keep
ethanol-free gas widely available".
Please take a moment to read about this important issue,
and join me in signing the petition. It takes just 30
seconds, but can truly make a difference. We are trying to
reach 10000 signatures - please sign here: http://www.thepetitionsite.com/1/keep-pure-gas/
Once you have signed, you can help even more by asking your
friends and family to sign as well.
Thank you!
