One way I have had success in removing broken bolts is to sharpen the drill
smaller than that you would use for the easy out (a misnomer) so that it cuts
left handed. Run the drill backwards and many times it will catch and
unscrew the broken part. If the threads are clean, you have a good chance
of success.
