If = the adapter were extended several inches, and another 90-deg bend = incorporated, you could hang the filter down (vertical), tucked into the = little space in front of the intake manifold. Why re-create = the part that the oil filter screws onto if it ain't broke? Plus, I can now still use the original small oil filter.
