Greetings,
I've finally got the evap cores that I'm
going to use, so I figured I'd pass along some numbers for the archives.
What I ordered were the "classic" (as Joe put it) cores, that many folks are
using. I initially ordered two of the Factory Air brand, since they
were the cheapest. When they arrived, I found that one was made in Canada,
and the other in Venezuela. While they were the exact same dimension, and
had the same fittings, they were made slightly different, and were different
colors. One of the tubes was also noticeably larger on the Venezuela
version. As much as I tried to get over the differences, I couldn't
(stop laughing Tracy), and ended up ordering two more. They just arrived,
and are two more of the Venezuela versions. I'll keep those three,
and take back the Canada version. Below is all the info I have.
Enjoy.

These cores are used in all 77-90 Chevy Caprice models, as
well as a handful of other big ugly American cars.
