Thanks Bob.
That is kinda what I figured. If I can make him feel as special as possible, secure and loved, he will not know that there is anything amiss. Especially today when so many have various living arraignments. I think kids tend to react as adults react.....too many adults like to "major in the minor" and live in drama. I hope, not I.

Chris,
Knowing how and when to tell him is easy! Whenever he asks! Answer his question and don't feel the need to expound beyond what he asked. When he is ready to know, he WILL ask.
I've had 44 kids and a lot of touchy situations to explain. Just because you are ready doesn't mean he will be, allow him to be ready for the info then answer the questions.
