I have two Mazda RX-7 turbos, one is off a 1991 and the other off of an older I believe 1987-88. Both of the turbine wheels spin easily and no visible signs of damage. The 1991 comes with the cast iron turbo manifold, turbo intercooler (in good shape - a few bent fins), a down pipe, turbo water pump housing (with turbo water return)- its off the 1991 block. I strongly would NOT recommend either for aircraft application - but, if you need a turbo for your other project {:>) The other 87 is basically just the turbocharger. I also have an assembled 1987 turbo 13B block with 9.1:1 N/A rotors. I paid $600 when I got it, checked it over and found compression low on one of the 3 cycle from the rear rotor - it was down to about 90 psi cold cranking, the others over 110. Comes with flywheel (not flexplate). Never had it apart. It's been sitting in my workshop for about 5 years. Might find a couple of old rotor housings and iron housings I could throw into the lot, as well as some other odds and ins. I don't have time (or energy) to crate suitable for shipment, so you would have to come pick up if interested. Not interested in parting it out - take it all. Everything as IS. Make me an offer if interested - or if close by, come see then make me an offer. Not looking to get rich or even recoup my "investment" - so don't be shy {:>) Ed Ed Anderson Rv-6A N494BW Rotary Powered Matthews, NC eanderson@carolina.rr.com http://www.andersonee.com http://www.dmack.net/mazda/index.html http://www.flyrotary.com/ http://members.cox.net/rogersda/rotary/configs.htm#N494BW http://www.rotaryaviation.com/Rotorhead%20Truth.htm ------=_NextPart_000_0240_01CA5A57.675C7E90 Content-Type: text/html; charset="us-ascii" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable
