I have a 88 and a 89. I wanted to use as much of the 89 as possible. When I disasembled it I found that one rotor and the rotor housing had been trashed due to apex seal expulsion. The width of the housing was also out of spec so it probably overheated as well. The other housing and end and intermediate housings look great. I found a 89 housing and it is on it's way. If I use the 89 housings should or could I use the 88 rotors, 88 Eshaft, front counter weight, and stationary gears? I will still need to get a flex plate and a couter weight for a 88 automatic. As far as the housings for the 88, the chrome looked like it was grooved and the end and intermediate housings looked pitted. Thanks for any help. Joe Berki Limo EZ
