Hi, Rusty....I'm glad I found someone
familiar with the Borla muffler. If I understand you correctly, using only a
Borla muffler on my aircraft, it might be too loud? Thanks. Paul

Hi Paul,
I'm assuming that Borla makes a number of different
mufflers. The one you pointed out, may be larger than the ones that
are being installed in mid-pipes (the straight pipe that replaces the main
cat). I installed a high flow cat on my car, in order to keep just
enough back pressure to control the turbos, so I've only read about the
Borla's in passing.
You could register on the RX-7 club site, and do a
search, and find out more than you probably ever wanted to know about
