Hi, Rusty....I'm glad I found someone familiar with the Borla muffler. If I understand you correctly, using only a Borla muffler on my aircraft, it might be too loud?  Thanks. Paul Conner

Hi, Rusty....if you need a muffler right away, have you considered the Borla EP/GT3?  They claim incredible lifespan behind a rotary.  www.awrracing.com/pages/rx/rxexh.html    Hope this is of some interest?   Take care.  Paul Conner

Hi Paul,

The FD guys sometimes put Borla's in place of the cat, but leave the regular muffler.  They do this because the car is usually too loud with both cats removed.  At any rate, the Borla's do tend to survive.  Unfortunately, they tend to be round, and for me, the square Spintech will actually work better.  Mine will go on the belly, just behind the cowl, and the thin, square shape will help it tuck in out of sight.  I can also use it for a foot warmer :-)

Thanks,
Rusty
