Item 2 looks like a VDO pressure sender that does double duty... the body of the sender gets ground from the block; one of the output posts gives you an analog signal (variable resistance to ground) to send the pressure to the gauge, the other is a switched output to send a ground to an annunciator light, probably to indicate a low-pressure condition. <Marv>
