If you run the right tank dry, you probably have other problems. :-))
Seriously, the transfer is at 60 gallons per hour, and figure 10 gallons per hour to run the engine, so it should come to life right quick. (By this time you may be using both hands to hold the wings level.)

if you run the right tank dry, how long does it take the pump to fill the right tank enough to get the engine restarted? isn't there a lot of air involved in the lines? mine takes but a few seconds because I am switching to a tank with fuel in it. with my system you get a second chance after the engine coughs for lack of fuel. the first cough tends to really wake you up and get you thinking. I have 1000hrs on mine so the 240 hr. argument doesn't work :-) (just joking, not making enemies)
