Ed,
What do you think it bought you in the way of HP?  You estimate you started out with ??? and ended up with ??? after porting...
Seems like a fairly simple, easy way to buy myself 10-20 hp ... Jim S.

Guys, I'm going to work on rebuilding an 88 13B 6 port between Christmas and New Years. I'm thinking about porting it. Do you recommend buying/using the Racing Beat porting templates? It's for use in a car--at least until I get an airframe. If I decided to get more ambitious in my porting, what are the lowest idle speeds one can get with a semi-or full bridgeport? Or am I really best off sticking with what Racing Beat calls the "streetable" port job? Barry GardnerWheaton, IL
