Bill,
I found that I actually didn’t have a problem. I rechecked the
intermediate housing again last night to see if I could determine what exactly
was off, and everything was fine. I must have had some speck of something on
my straight edge. At any rate, I checked it on both sides twice, just to make
sure, and it was perfect.

Steve,
I have 2 or 3 center irons from 88 and 91 engines. When I get home next
week I can see if they are serviceable and let you know. I can make you a
super deal - I think the 91 is a good one.

Does anyone know if the intermediate housing for the 86-88 is the same as on
the 89-91 ?
I am rebuilding a JDM engine and found that the intermediate housing is
warped. The only one I have found so far is an 86-88, but I’m not sure if
that will fit.
