I’m hoping to see you there as well.  I’m thinking I need to do a few more takeoff and landing roll tests first, because 30 x 3000 looks pretty skinny and short for a fairly heavily loaded Velocity (bringing a stout friend, and some baggage).  If it’s hot and windy we may have to consider a neighboring airport – I hope not.

Good on ya Al, you being there is ONE of the reasons I am coming, come hell or high water (bad weather always a concern).  I have not seen you since the Velocity Symposium in "otsix" north of Big D and I have never seen your bird.  I am guessin' I will have "3rotar envy" <g>.  I think my 2 rotor will push my SE along nicely, especially if I succeed with the turbo.
