Thanks Bill,
I’m getting great feedback, and I’m
getting the feeling the bus is not so great; even at a greatly reduced price.

Subject: [FlyRotary] Re: EXP 2V
Bus
Bryan,
I have had the EXP Bus in my RV-6 13B for 600 hours. It has been flawless
until this year. I had intermittant problems with my EIS, and then my nav
lights would only stay on for a few seconds each time I cycled the
switch. I tracked both problems to the electronic CBs in the EXP. I
don't know if the polyswitches "wear out", but I replaced two of them
that were offending, and all is well now.
I have a separate backup circuit for flight-critical items, and it has a direct
feed from the battery. If something blows in the EXP, I flip two switches
to keep the rotating thing going, and I can turn the master off if I need to
(e.g. electrical fire)
Not sure I would use the EXP again. I have thought about changing to
traditional wiring, but it would be a HUGE project at this point.
