Bryan,
I have had the EXP Bus in my RV-6 13B for 600 hours.  It has been = flawless until this year.  I had intermittant problems with my EIS, and then = my nav lights would only stay on for a few seconds each time I cycled the switch.  I tracked both problems to the electronic CBs in the = EXP.  I don't know if the polyswitches "wear out", but I replaced two = of them that were offending, and all is well now.

I have a separate backup circuit for flight-critical items, and it has a = direct feed from the battery.  If something blows in the EXP, I flip two = switches to keep the rotating thing going, and I can turn the master off if I = need to (e.g. electrical fire)

Not sure I would use the EXP again.  I have thought about changing = to traditional wiring, but it would be a HUGE project at this point.
