A sub-plate of aluminum is sandwiched between the block and oil pan; engine= mount attaches to aluminum sub-plate. Does this not mean oil pan bolt tightening is more critical? Do all engine vibrations distributed from block to sub-plate get absorbed b= y the rubberized Lord-Mounts? No big pressure needed from the oil pan bolts, if you tighten them=20 in a round-robin manner, slowly enough to let the permatex squeeze out.
