While you are here would you give me an estimate for building an oil pan for an RX-8 with the ear on the back for the adjustable rod end. (rjechtinaw@toast.net) You built my engine mount and it is already drilled for a new pan. What do you think about welding on a short tube that can be threaded for a screw in dipstick. This engine is going into an aerobatic biplane so everything needs to be tight before flight. I have used V-8 engines before and on the custom oil pans I welded two bosses and installed AN fittings with barbs pointing at each other with clear hose between them so I could visually check oil without having to pull a stick each time.
