Your CAS alignment Looks like its right on
the money to me, John .
I presume the assembly is in the engine
and the lock nut tighten? Otherwise, its likely to shift as you engage the
gears as you push it in.

rechecked the timing according to the installation guide for the EC2.
Enclosed is a picture of the CAS with the pulley at 35 degrees BTDC. If
the pointer is in the correct position in the CAS, I'm ready for another
attempt at starting. JohnD
