George:

If I am not wrong I thionk that those were what Tracy used. I do not believe
he actually named a size on the carbs he used. I think that he mentions in
his manual that he pulled them of a Yamaha XS1100. And it stands to reason
that the Mikuni BS 34-11 were what he used as those were standard on the
bike. .

Again I am only looking for about 150 hp for my application and those will
work. I would however like to see if I can do a purely gravity fed system.
So I will be searching for an appropriately sized Stromberg NA-S as I
believe the Marvel Shebler MA 4-5 good for about 150 hp do require a fuel
pump. I have a rebuilt Stomberg NA-S3A1  with a inch and a quarter diameter
ventury I bough for a Corvair conversion but they are only good for about
100 hp all out at full tilt boogey. I believe the dash 4 Stromberg is good
for 150 hp, now if I can only find one.
