Just to be clear -- the wiring harness has a 7 pin connector and 4
connectors
for the coils? and the female connector plugs into this 7 pin connector and
supplies wires that will go to tracy's EC-2?

For clarification, the wiring harness has 5 connectors, four 4 pin
connectors that plug into the 4 LS1 coils.  The fifth connector is a 7 pin
male.  It plugs into the 7 pin female connector (A/C Delco #PT381).  The
connector has 7 pigtail wires, 6 wires splice into the wiring harness going
to the EC2.  The seventh wire goes to "ground on engine".

Refer to the schematic on page 20 of the "Real World Solutions 13B-(A) EC@
Engine Controller 13-02 Installation and Programming Guide (LS1 Coils)".
