Kelly,
Is there documentation as to what their made of and hardness etc?
What is the price of these bolts?
They sound like good quality!

George,
They are surplus Pratt & Whitney engine bolts.......I do not have one in front of me
at the moment but they are 3/8 inch (.375) diameter x approx. 8 inch length with SAE
fine rolled threads........After talking to Richard at the Rotary Roundup a few years
ago I sent him some after he determined they would work for his single Rotor.........

Best Regards,

Kelly,
As I'm doing a single, is there anything special about the bolts you supplied Richard.
George (down under)
  Richard,
Were you able to use the bolts I sent you for your engine ??......If  you have a need for
more of these bolts just let me know.........

It has been a frustrating 7 month, trying to get the single rotor dynamically balanced. After a lot of fellows on the lists trying to help, I called Mazdatrix, and as of last week I got the parts back from them balanced. The engine is going back together right now for continuing testing.
The main effort is now designing and testing the intake and establishing a performance baseline.

I made some changes on the outside of the engine. For example the lower engine mount points are now on the front of the engine to provide mounting areas for radiator and oil cooler. The location is much like with a Shertz Beam on the two rotor.
The third mounting point is on the oil pump cover at a location similar to the 12A front mount in the car. I don't have pictures yet, but the castings should be here any time now.
I am also working on getting a magneto ignition in.

The e-shaft in the picture was taken before hardening and grinding.

I hope to be able to do shorter update intervals in the future.
