John,
I cannot tell from the photo whether the manifold is a cast unit
or welded.........Which is it ??.......Interesting that the TO4 weighs
less than the stock turbo.........

4 lbs (estimate) | No, It's stainless. I forget which type, but it's not the top grade stuff that I wanted. Still - seems well build and it's holding together ok.

John,
Is the exhaust manifold cast iron and do you happen to know its weight ??...........

No ceramics or inconel. I was advised to go for the "big-shaft" whatever that means. (could relate to the price in some way :) By the way - I'm using an exhaust manifold made by xspower and sold on ebay for $99. I check it regularly. No signs of problems yet. Here are a few images of the components.

John,
Another question or two.........Does your TO4 have anything exotic
such as inconel exhaust turbine or ceramic bearings , etc ??.........
